Rebecca Atwood had a vision for how she wanted customers – both retail and tradespeople – to explore and shop her extensive collections on her new website. She charged Fuzzco with designing and developing a custom Shopify ecommerce site that brought the tactical layered experience of her physical design process to the internet.
Discovery and strategy phases were key to finding balance in the deeply custom functionality and need for simple, brand-forward and robust user flows. We developed a new Shopify 2.0 instance, leveraging the new platform just months after its release. Layered and tactile bits of pattern, color, handwritten script and detailed iconography bring the brand to life in an intricate digital experience.
Collaborators: Brand design by Order.
“I'm often asked about our website and I'm always happy to share that we worked with Fuzzco. We worked together really deeply on this project--and we had fun doing it. Our site needed to address the business-to-business relationship we have with our interior designers, ensuring they have all the technical information they need, an intuitive shopping process, and clear trade pricing. But, it also needed to be accessible for the end consumer and offer vivid inspiration for all. Fuzzco understood what we were trying to do and helped us navigate these challenges gracefully while creating a visually stunning site.
Over a year since our launch and our clients have said that our website is so easy to use – the best website they've experienced for our trade focused product.”
