Phylo is building the next branch of scientific discovery — a living system where AI and biology evolve together. But turning that kind of ambition into a brand takes more than making biotech look sleek. In a category crowded with familiar visual tropes, Phylo needed an identity that could feel scientifically credible, technically advanced, and genuinely ownable at the same time. The goal was to create a system that could clarify the relationship between Phylo and Biomni, translate complex thinking into something people could actually feel, and introduce the company with the same sense of evolution and forward motion that defines the product itself.

We partnered with the Phylo team across visual identity, messaging, web design, brand assets, and development to build a brand system designed for launch and for what comes next. That meant shaping everything from the logo system, color palette, typography, and messaging framework to key brand assets, sample applications, and a modular web experience. Throughout the work, we were focused on building something that could hold a unique balance: human and analytical, powerful and playful, modernist and experimental. The result is a brand that feels at home in science, but doesn’t look or sound like every other company trying to prove it belongs there.
