OpenPhone, a business telephone solution founded in 2018, closed is Series B funding in early 2022 and set off on a goal to evolve their brand identity as they prepared to scale the business. There was so much of the spirit of the original OpenPhone brand that we wanted to keep or stay true to as part of the brand evolution. We developed a new visual and verbal identity marrying the maturity needed to go after bigger markets with the same creative irreverence that their early customers loved.

We created a new illustration style for the brand that uses clean lines and color to direct a user's focus, allowing the OpenPhone team to tell complex product stories in a clear and digestible way. Leveraging this new illustration style and visual identity system, we designed a new marketing site to support the repositioned OpenPhone platform.
