The latest offering from James Beard Award-winning chef Mike Lata, The Ordinary is a nationally-recognized seafood concept located in our hometown of Charleston.
We were engaged to develop the logo, website, and all the brand pieces in the restaurant, from the menus to the aprons and paper hats worn by the chefs. We also assisted with naming and interior design.

Our objective was to introduce Lata’s new restaurant to local, regional and national audiences and engage critics, taste-makers and everyday visitors.

Even before the restaurant opened, the unconventional name and textured identity design drove national attention to Lata and his saltwater-soaked menu.
