This project came with two heads. We were tasked with rebranding the Village Repertory Theater and creating a new brand for its Charleston venue – the Woolfe Street Playhouse. The venue, an old meat-packing warehouse, boasts two theaters and a unique, open seating area.
The Village Repertory puts on original productions of challenging new and established works. They have done a lot to raise the bar for theatrical diversity, inventive programming and artistic excellence in our community.
The identity is playful and classic, the website is practical and direct, and the posters have a continuous motif.
