As a nonprofit cinema, the Nick works to bring new perspectives, foster critical dialogue, and provide film education to a broad audience in Columbia, South Carolina.
We were engaged for a complete brand refresh for the 25 year old organization, creating an identity system that is as fluid and challenging as the Nick itself, suggesting the variety of experiences delivered through the theater’s programming.
The website we designed and built incorporates a dynamic calendar and listings for showtimes, festivals, and events, with film trailers and links to ticket purchase through Blackbaud’s Altru system. The site’s Education section includes program information and a showcase for student work, and the all-new blog gives the theater a new channel for communicating with its audience.
