Property managers manage communications with many different people – from vendors to tenants to prospective tenants – and their communications have historically been silo'd and manual. Conduit is an AI platform built to bring all communications together in one place for property managers, leveraging the technology to streamline basic comms when possible and freeing property managers to spend more time on complex or nuanced communications.
We were tasked with defining the visual identity for Conduit as part of its pivot from a brand called HostAI. Where HostAI was focused on supporting short term rental communications, Conduit needed an identity that could support a broader audience within the real estate and property management industry.
We found our inspiration from the name itself, exploring ways to bring a physical conduit to life in a digital space. This anchor in the physical definition of a conduit led us to not only create a logo whose shape is referential of a conduit in wiring or pipes, but also to create surfaces that explored materiality and a color story with copper as our primary color.
While the Conduit platform is entirely digital, the industry it supports is inherently physical. This play between digital and physical space was foundational for the new identity.
