Today we reflected on the good old days when we worked out of a former church at 85½ Spring Street. We have so many memories from that space—it was our first real live office that comfortably held us until we grew so big some of us worked in the kitchen!

The old Fuzzco office

Recently, as you may have noticed on social media, Counter Culture Coffee took over our old office on Spring Street and turned it into one of their Barista Training Centers. We’re so happy to see our dear old office go to an awesome company that holds beauty, culture and the love of good coffee in high regard. We love them and love that they’re bringing an even higher level of coffee culture to Charleston in a big way.

To celebrate the opening, they hosted a BBQ where they served delicious affogatos and succulent whole pig with all the fixins.

We worked together with Counter Culture to produce some fun giveaways for the event, including a small pin, a simple tote, and a custom keychain all featuring an illustration of their new / our old building at 85½ Spring.

We also participated in the first ever coffee cupping in the space (similar to a wine tasting, but with coffee!). We all had a great time sniffing and lapping up little tastes of coffee from the masters’ collection.

We’re so happy to have Counter Culture in the neighborhood. Stop by any Friday morning for a Tasting@Ten.
