Charleston Wine + Food

We’re pleased to announce the launch of the Charleston Wine + Food website.  We had a soft go-live earlier this week and yesterday at 5:30pm we launched tickets.  The ticket launch was smooth, with some events selling out immediately.

We worked really hard with Erika, Zach and Angel of Charleston Wine + Food to come up with a more intuitive browsing experience.

Parliament

Parliament is a coalition of business owners, entrepreneurs, and free agents… really anyone committed to helping the Charleston region realize its full potential as a creative community. Parliament is responsible for producing Pecha Kucha Charleston and is going to be paving the way for a bunch of great things to come for our local creative community.

It has been a pleasure working with Parliament to extend our naming and branding work to the web.

Twinkle twinkle, Fuzzco Launches New Spoleto Website

spoleto_home

On Sunday morning we launched the new website for Spoleto Festival USA, one of the most respected arts festivals in the country.  We developed a new look, rethought the browsing methodology, and we brought features to the site like the “Why I support Spoleto” donor feature and incorporated google maps for an enhanced user experience.

Below you’ll see the Sort by Genre page. This provides a grid view of all of the events organized by genre.

Below is the Sort by Date page. This provides a list view of all of the events organized by date, but maintains the color indicators to differentiate the genre.

We are very pleased with the results and expect an exciting 2010 Season.  In particular we look forward to seeing Cinderella, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Mozart / Brahms / Verdi and the Opera, Flora.

The new season was recently written up in the New York Times.

We have a responsibility to give back to our community and one way we do it is by supporting movements and organizations that we strongly believe in.  The Coastal Conservation league is a 4-star Charity Navigator organization, which means that they operate very effectively and efficiently. We worked with them to develop their new website – full write up coming soon! – and found them to be a team of incredible people all working very hard to serve a greater cause that benefits all of us. In short, they rule and deserve all the support in the world.

We celebrated yesterday’s launch of Blue Moon Events’ new blog with a little champagne, we couldn’t help it.  Their blog is quick witted and easy on the eyes… enjoy.

Do you have reception?

We’ve recently gone live with a couple updates – both of which have what we like to call “Reception Pages.” The function of the reception page is to provide an SEO friendly fork in the road where one can choose between the main site (or in these cases, the flash sites) or the blog.  The blog posts you see on each reception page populate automatically which makes updating a cinch. Navigate for yourself:

Eating Christmas is hot.

We recently got back from some R&D out in New Mexico.  We can’t spill the beans yet but this project is going to be cutting, edge.  We traveled to Santa Fe where we got to stay and work with our wonderful hosts.  Secret work aside, we climbed mountains, ate christmas (red and green chili), saw zozobra burn, made exercise videos, traveled down scary dirt roads to nothing, took lots of photos, sweated in hot springs, played Settlers of Catan, stumbled onto the set of McGruber and bonded.
