Another label for COAST.

Thanks to everyone who let us use their shower during the Camp Fuzzco experiment.  We’ll have you over soon for some COAST and you can use our bathroom.

On Day 10 we see progress on the bathroom. We take a shower at Amber’s house and find out about Ryan Gosling. Then we pick out the bathroom door at the Salvage yard where we also see where Josh’s grandmother ‘lives’- then Kat Hastie comes over for a meeting. Followed by a meeting with our bookkeeper. Later that night is the Noisette Holiday Party and Josh shaves in our office. Then Kevin Hoth comes over to take some photos of Camp Fuzzco- he provided the stuffed animals and the jumpsuits. It was quite fun. Then Helen has a moment with a yodeling bear.

Tonight we got to hang out with photographer Kevin Hoth. He suggested that we do a tongue in cheek photo shoot for Camp Fuzzco which turned out to be brilliant. Here he is playing with his Mary had a Little Lamb Doll. Look for the pictures soon. Thanks Kevin!

On Day 9 a quick intro from Josh. Then a meeting with Kathleen Donnelly – she sees the camp and we review some photography selections by Peter Frank Edwards for the Permar website we are working on. Then we go home and see Matt’s stitched thumb and have a quick talk about the bathroom window. Then Helen and Josh alternate being coy about their day. Josh goes to chess club and Helen, listening to In Rainbows sped up to hell, drives downtown to hang with Lindsay and Summer for Ladies Night. Then we go back to the house and say good night to the hard working tile guys.

On Day 8 we hear about Patrick coming into the office and finding Helen asleep. Then Josh goes out for a day of meetings to discuss taxes and business development. Helen stays in the office and works on the finer points of projects including logo/web concept for Alice Marshall PR, web concept for Josh Kaler, and web concept for Tim Liddy. Josh sits on a dried cranberry and stains his paints. We have a glass of wine. Helen talks Josh into an improvised mock promotional shot centered around the Rubik’s Cube.

On Day 7 we see a tired Josh introduction. Followed by a trip to the grocery store to get donuts for the crew. Return home where we see Matt’s robot thumb, and peer ever deeper into what is Pickles. We then see Helen drink pond water. Then night just happens and we get bored/hyper/antic-prone. We visit the bathroom, which has made some good progress. We did a lot of editing, but under Helen’s pressure we kept the Muffins reenactment – for the real thing see find it here – it’s one of those Liam (let’s get some shoes) sketches.

On Day 6 Josh finally decides to get an x-ray. We go to Nason Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. The doctor is afraid of the camera. Watch to find out if Josh’s ribs are in fact shattered, broken, cracked or none of the above. The x-ray is dramatically sped up. Then Helen puts on her shoes and Helen and Josh show us how they like to drink fancy wine for a nice dinner that Mitchell and Farrah have invited us to at Joe’s house. We get to dinner and go into the wine cellar, get to try a large variety of fancy wines. Helen recreationally checks her blood pressure. Then the crew from Trusted Palate puts out a traditional 7 fish Sicilian Christmas meal. Camp Fuzzco gets a first class meal. Sensory overload.

On Day 5 we see the height of rib pain from Josh. What a day for self promotion — we interact with tons of people whose websites we’ve built. Every site listed in this post was done by Fuzzco sometime in the last 3 years.

We start the day doing some work. We then go talk to the tile guy, drug the cats and go to Helen’s parents for a shower. Then we stalk Farrah and Mitchell. Then go to Kevin (darkskymagazine.com) and Adrienne’s (spinsterstudio.com) where we meet baked baby jesus, threaten a doll house, have some tea and get sprayed with water. Next we go to the Margo Kaufman Gallery event (margokaufmangallery.com). We talk to Elan who “broke 3 ribs too”. I’m finally starting to get some street cred for this massive rib injury – and my vocabulary so subtely shifts from injured ribs to broken ribs. We then talk to Michael Moran who we end up purchasing the cherry coffee table from. See Jeffery’s face when he tries to hug Josh and there is a broken rib informing. It’s at 8:20. Pretty priceless. Then off to Mary Edna Fraser’s (maryedna.com), where Josh almost falls when introducing the event. We see Mitchell and Farrah (organicprocess.com). The video culminates in a full performance of the song Deep End – Josh’s favorite Slow Runner song (slowrunner.com).

On Day 4 we see some late night luminosity. Josh discusses his rib injury. We get some words in with Matt who shot a nail through his finger. We get to know Pickles and Rocky a little better. Josh discusses piano performance trauma. Pickles vents about sports radio. We find ourselves passing Bessinger’s and stop by for a shot. Josh walks in on Helen doing yoga. Helen watches josh die in Mario Galaxy. We get to see the marble tile hit the floor. Helen eats her 2nd burrito. Josh further discusses his rib injury and then expresses his feelings about taxes. Then we see some before and after at the North Charleston Regal. Josh willingly and happily poses with the Sea Horse. Finally Lindsay, Josh K and Jess stop in to see the camp.

Day 3 sees an exhausted wake up. Some work efforts. A visit to the house to find the right bathtub height. Helen eating a frozen meal. A visit from Patrick McNulty of the Bourne Group – www.bournesigns.com. Helen is the first to finish her Kombucha probiotic tea. A sneak peak at the Argonaut Investment concept. Helen, again, admits fatigue. Blurry Historic North Charleston. Arrival at Sesame. Visit to Brian and Eva Knox for a shower. A final return home to inspect progress.
